Our Colored Veneer:
All of our colored veneer is high quality, rotary cut 1/16” Canadian maple veneer.
The color is infused right through this veneer so that when you sand it, the color does not disappear.
Color shades and penetration may vary from sheet to sheet.

Did you know that you can use the Thin Air Press to create your own blanks with coloured veneer? Customize your colours by making it yourself! These can be used for lathe turning, CNC carving, sculptures, sign making, and more! Put a finish on it and see the colours really pop!

Colored Veneers and Food Safety:
Lots of our customers use our coloured veneers to make cutting boards and kitchen utensils but we encourage everyone to do their own research on dyed woods for the needs of their project. In fact, we use a cutting board made with coloured veneers right here in the shop!
The manufacturers who supply us with this veneer confirm that the dyes used are non-toxic but they are not guaranteed to be food-safe.
